The June issue of Recover Magazine features an exclusive interview with Fabio Disarò, Sales Director Italy, conducted by Roberta Vozza, providing an in-depth look into Marcolin Covering.
Service and continuous improvement at the heart of the strategy
In a market where focusing solely on the product is no longer enough, the difference lies in the ability to support the customer throughout the entire lifecycle of the solution. In the interview, Disarò highlights the philosophy that drives the company’s daily growth: “We produce robust, durable and innovative covers. But above all, we work every day on continuous improvement. A part of our time is always dedicated to this.” For Marcolin Covering, the covering system truly becomes an integrated service.
Field innovation and Lean culture
For the company, innovation stems from listening directly to the customer and gathering insights from the field, which are then transformed into concrete solutions for the quarry/construction, ecology and agriculture sectors.
This consultative approach is driven by the Lean Transformation launched in 2019, which involved all corporate processes. “Today we can say we are a lean company, not just doing lean,” Disarò explains, highlighting a systemic method aimed at reducing waste and integrating corporate functions.
Co-design, local network and international growth
Relationships with the market are also developed through co-design alongside bodybuilders (OEMs) and feedback from end-users. The value of the offering is backed by the Marcolin Service Points, a network of authorized workshops across the region, and Marcolin Academy project, dedicated to technical training and sharing field experience. This framework supports an increasingly structured European presence, which included the establishment of Marcolin France in 2023 and Marcolin Service Germany in 2025.
Finally, the interview delves into the features of two field-born innovations: the patented Eletta® covering system and the kitai® remote control featuring bidirectional technology.
